ACTIVITY CARD #5
Ephesians 2:4-5
It is by grace we are saved. It's time to celebrate! Share the joys you have experienced in the time that God has made you ALIVE in Christ! This date, take a piece of fruit (or candy bar, crackers, whatever you like) and break into pieces. For each piece share a joy. Taking turns, feed that piece to your spouse as you share your joy. Keep going until all the pieces are gone. There is so much joy in sharing your marriage with Christ. he gives us so much grace! Relish in that joy and thank HIM.

Ephesians 5:28
Husbands, share with your wives how very much you love her and why. What actions do you do on a regular basis to back up the words? Could you be doing more? Ask her! This date, husband, write a love letter to your wife and surprise her with it one day this week. Anticipation of receiving this letter will be exciting for your wife!

Romans 10:15
How are you sharing the great news of Jesus? Think of something you can do together to minister to someone. Do something specific to share the truth of Jesus Christ this week. Meet with a younger married couple, a troubled teen, pass out tracts in an at-risk neighborhood, or ask your pastor for more ideas or someone they know who would benefit from your act. This date, it's the husband's turn, his choice for half an hour! Enjoy!

Ecclesiastes 3:9-15
To be happy in everything we do is a gift from God, from the mundane activity to the ultimate adventure. This week remind each other to do just that - be happy in everything! Put at least five everyday activities in a jar. Take turns drawing one out each day. Enjoy completing the task together, even if it is just keeping the other company! This date, build the above project together in your private space. Afterwards, plan an exciting adventure for a future date. Lastly, hold each other in your arms for at least 1/2 hour! Enjoy!

Romans 8:26
This date, pray together. Light some candles, sit on the floor or the bed holding hands, facing each other. Allow time for the Holy Spirit to intercede on your behalf. just hold hands and lift your hearts and minds to God. Don't know how to start? Start by praising God for your partner, thanking Him for all the things that you love about him/her. Lift up your praises to God, anything that is on your heart. Enjoy the time afterwards by sharing your experience with each other, what you felt and how you feel now.
